Your new company A well-established housing association is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their Voids Team. You'll carry out electrical repairs, installations, testing and associated multi-trade tasks to ensure empty homes are safe, compliant, and ready for new tenants.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for stability, consistent hours, and a genuine route into a permanent role. Your new role Electrical repairs, replacements and upgrades within void properties Fault finding, diagnostics and rectification Periodic inspection and testing in line with regulations Completing EICRs and associated certification Working independently across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and North Leicestershire Ensuring all work meets safety, compliance and quality standards What you'll need to succeed Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) Proven experience as a qualified electrician, ideally within social housing or voids Ability to complete EICRs confidently and accurately Own van and full set of tools Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently across multiple sites What you'll get in return 37 paid hours per week, Monday to Friday 3-month temporary contract with a strong chance of becoming permanent Work with a respected housing association supporting local communities Varied workload across multiple properties and regions What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
