Landscape Operative Hourly Rate: £13.49 per hour Location: Leicester Job Type: Full-time, Temporary We are seeking a Landscape Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in landscaping, construction site operations, or plant operation. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks including landscaping, grounds maintenance, and construction projects to enhance public spaces and ensure they meet the required standards and timescales. Day-to-day of the role: Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance duties to ensure they meet required standards and timescales. Comply with Health and Safety, COSHH, and other relevant regulations. Assist in the construction and development of hard and soft landscape projects according to client specifications. Develop and maintain outdoor sports areas, including both natural and artificial surfaces. Ensure all works are completed within predetermined timescales and costs. Assist in the maintenance and planting of trees and shrubs on highways and open spaces. Apply chemicals in compliance with the Pesticides Regulations Act, ensuring safe and effective use. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in landscape construction or the construction industry, especially construction site work. Proficient in landscaping skills such as planting shrubs, turf laying, and concrete mixing. Skilled in the use of hand tools for construction tasks.
