Electrical & Mechanical Fitter Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 Location: King’s Lynn Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (with an on-call rota) The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established engineering services team based in King’s Lynn . What’s on Offer £32k–£36k basic salary Regular overtime available 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with length of service Company pension scheme Paycare scheme Death in service cover Branded workwear provided Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Cycle to Work scheme Stable, permanent employment with clear progression opportunities Your Responsibilities Attending sites and carrying out assessments where required Stripping, overhauling and repairing industrial gearboxes, pumps and electric motors Working on a range of general mechanical equipment Participating in an emergency call-out rota Completing final inspections and quality sign-off Following established procedures and guidelines Working independently and to tight deadlines Maintaining high standards of housekeeping Supporting Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental standards Being flexible and willing to work overtime when required What We’re Looking For A mechanical fitter with some exposure to industrial gearboxes, pumps or electric motors (advantageous but not essential) Ability to use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.) A strong team player with a proactive attitude High levels of self-motivation and reliability Full UK driving licence
