Plant Operator Location: Rotherham Salary: £14.81ph + Shift allowance Hours: Mornings and Afternoons And Alternating Weekends Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing and materials business to recruit an Plant Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in plant operations who’s looking to join a stable, growing business offering excellent earning potential through regular overtime. Role Responsibilities: Operate the asphalt plant efficiently and safely to meet production targets. Carry out routine maintenance, checks, and housekeeping to keep equipment in good working order. Safely operate loading shovels and mini diggers on site. Monitor material quality and ensure all mixes meet specification requirements. Record production data accurately and report any faults or breakdowns promptly. Work collaboratively with the wider site team to maintain smooth operations across shifts. About You: Previous experience working as an Asphalt or Plant Operator (or similar production environment). Valid Loading Shovel and Mini Digger licences are essential. Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards. Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work mornings and afternoons.
