Job summary

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 basic salary + performance bonus (OTE £100,000 – £120,000+) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to support the growth of our community and residential complex care services across our group of healthcare brands. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and strengthening relationships with Local Authority and Integrated Care Board (ICB) commissioners, securing new adult and children’s complex care packages, and positioning the organisation as a trusted provider capable of delivering responsive, high-quality services. This role requires someone who is well connected within the health and social care commissioning landscape, particularly across London boroughs, while also maintaining a wider national network of contacts. The postholder will work closely with our clinical governance and operational leadership teams to identify emerging commissioner priorities and shape service solutions that enable rapid mobilisation and effective care delivery. Working across several brands within the group, the Business Development & Partnerships Manager will be responsible not only for securing new opportunities but also for developing strategic approaches to support the commercial growth of each service line. Key Responsibilities The Business Development & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Local Authority commissioners, brokerage teams, Integrated Care Boards, children’s services commissioners and hospital discharge teams. Through these relationships, the role will focus on identifying and securing new care packages across adult complex care, children’s complex care, community-based services and residential placements where appropriate. A key part of the role will involve maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the pressures commissioners face and identifying opportunities where our services can respond to those needs. The postholder will work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to develop care solutions that enable safe and timely entry into services for individuals with complex needs. The role will also involve maintaining awareness of relevant commissioning frameworks, including the London AQP domiciliary care framework and other dynamic purchasing systems, and supporting the organisation in responding effectively to opportunities within these arrangements. As the organisation continues to grow, the Business Development & Partnerships Manager will contribute to developing and leading a small business development team. The role will involve identifying new market opportunities, shaping growth strategies for different brands within the group, and ensuring that commercial objectives remain aligned with operational capacity and clinical governance standards. Person Specification We are seeking a candidate with significant experience in business development, commissioner engagement or partnerships within health or social care. Applicants should demonstrate a strong track record of securing complex care packages from Local Authorities or ICBs and have an established network of relationships within commissioning, brokerage or continuing healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of London borough commissioning structures and AQP frameworks, combined with excellent relationship management and negotiation skills. They should be commercially astute, strategically minded and comfortable working across multiple service lines within a growing healthcare organisation. What We Offer This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing healthcare group delivering services across community complex care, residential care and healthcare workforce solutions. The role offers a competitive salary with a performance-related bonus linked to revenue secured and service growth, along with the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future development of the organisation.
