Maintenance Technician – Spring Mews (Vauxhall, London) Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday (9:00am–6:30pm on a rota basis) Location: Spring Mews, 378-bed student accommodation Join Our Team at Spring Mews! We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our friendly team at Fresh. About the Role As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key part in ensuring Spring Mews stays safe, functional and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out minor reactive repairs and planned maintenance Conduct routine swimming pool testing, ensuring water quality is compliant, chemical levels are safe, and all related plant equipment is functioning correctly. Perform regular building checks including fire alarm tests, emergency lighting inspections, and health & safety compliance activities. Support room turnarounds during student check-in and check-out periods. Being the on-site “go-to” for maintenance queries Maintaining a clean, safe and positive environment for our residents No two days are the same—one moment you’ll be fixing a routine fault, the next you’ll be troubleshooting unexpected maintenance issues. About You We’re looking for someone who is: Experienced in a similar role (PBSA/estates/hospitality preferred, but not essential) Proactive, resourceful and good problem-solving skills. Experience with pool plant operations or willingness to undertake Pool Plant Operator training. Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership. Strong understanding of health & safety requirements, statutory compliance, and safe systems of work.
