We are hiring multiple experienced mechanics and technicians to join a high-performing engineering team operating at Heathrow Airport. Whether you’re an experienced HGV Technician, PSV Mechanic, Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Fitter or GSE Technician, we have both day and night shift opportunities available. Salaries are competitive and offered in line with your experience, qualifications and chosen shift pattern, with enhanced earnings available on nights and through overtime. This is not your standard workshop role. You’ll be maintaining a varied and specialist fleet including: PSV & PCV vehicles HGVs Vans and light commercial vehicles Airport tugs and tractors Plant machinery Specialist airport ground support equipment No two shifts are the same. The Role You’ll be responsible for: Servicing, repairing and maintaining a mixed fleet Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Completing PPM and reactive maintenance Supporting operational fleet availability in a safety-critical environment Working to strict airport compliance and safety standards This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where reliability and quality matter. What We’re Looking For Level 3 Vehicle / Mechanical qualification preferred (Level 2 considered with strong experience) Background in PSV, HGV, LCV, Plant or GSE Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Full UK driving licence (PCV licence beneficial) Able to pass airside clearance including 5-year referencing and DBS We’re looking for engineers who take pride in their work and want long-term stability within a growing operation.
