Job summary

PSV Mechanic – Hillingdon, Middlesex (Monday to Friday) Our client, based in Hillingdon, Middlesex, is currently seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic to work onsite in their in-house workshop facility. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: Carry out MOT tests and ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met to minimise vehicle downtime Liaise with the Operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs Administer and maintain the vehicle defect reporting system Ensure accurate record keeping and maintain documentation using the computer-based vehicle management system Undertake planned and preventative maintenance inspections Manage and perform vehicle servicing in line with manufacturers’ guidelines Diagnose and repair reported mechanical faults Maintain high Health & Safety standards within the workshop environment Service and test HGVs, LGVs and PSVs Source and order parts and workshop supplies when required Requirements: Proven experience as a PSV Mechanic or similar role Experience servicing and testing HGVs, LGVs and PSVs Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Good understanding of vehicle compliance and safety standards Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Hillingdon / West London If you are a qualified and experienced PSV Mechanic and are looking for a stable Monday to Friday role, we would like to hear from you.
