Electrician South London | £25 per hour | 3 months, ongoing An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a leading University delivering critical estates services. Working within the Estates & Facilities team, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting essential electrical infrastructure, especially fluorescent lighting. Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance, fault finding and installation on electrical systems including power, fluorescent lighting, fire alarms and nurse call systems Diagnose and repair faults in line with BS7671 Wiring Regulations Support PPM and reactive maintenance programmes across the estate Contribute to installation projects and minor works Maintain accurate records and support compliance across estates systems Work collaboratively with multi-skilled trades teams Requirements Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant and equipment Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work Ability to work independently
