Grounds maintenance operative

Job summary

The Grounds maintenance operative will assist the Lambeth Landscapes Housing Operations Manager and Supervisors in providing an effective and efficient service, carrying out general and specialist grounds maintenance duties as directed. The Grounds maintenance operative will take responsibility for meeting specific aspects of the grounds maintenance specification across a range of sites; and for the safe and efficient operation of equipment to ensure that financial costs and environmental burdens are minimised by themselves and their teams. Grounds maintenance operative Advise the public and support other stakeholders in respect to environmental objectives, resolving day to day issues creatively and sensitively and acting as a good ambassador of the Council at all times.
