Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year Job Description: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established car garage in Darlington that’s looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Mechanic to join their busy workshop. You will be reporting directly to the Service Manager, with the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a supportive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and being part of a friendly, professional team. Key Responsibilities: Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and accurately Maintain accurate records of work completed Work as part of a friendly and professional team Ensure the workshop is clean, safe, and organised Essential Requirements: NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or above in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Minimum 3 years’ experience in vehicle servicing and repairs Full UK driving licence Own tools Good written and verbal English Competent with computers Team player with a positive attitude Desirable / Advantageous Skills: MOT Tester qualification EV (Electric Vehicle) training Diagnostics training Additional: Salary: starting from £30,000 + Bonus Holidays: 22 days + Bank Holidays Work as part of a close-knit team Weekly lunch time treats The chance for further development/ certifications Working hours Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 alternate Saturdays - 08:00 - 12:00 To submit your CV, please press ‘apply’ or for more information, please contact Annabel at our Northallerton office.
