About Us Timber International is a European solid wood producer. We own our raw materials and fully control the production process from forest to finished product. We operate two complementary product lines: Timber International supplies a large stock of solid wood panels in oak, ash, birch, and pine, while our brand The Wood & Good offers precision-machined European oak stair parts — steps, risers, cladding, handrails, and posts — all in bespoke dimensions. We deliver door-to-door across the UK and Europe and are growing our presence in the UK market. The Role As our UK Sales Representative, you will develop and manage relationships with staircase manufacturers, joiners, carpenters, and timber merchants across the UK. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, visiting clients, presenting our product range, preparing quotations, and closing deals. This is a hybrid role based in the Manchester region, combining client visits and field work with home-office administration. What We Offer Annual salary of £35,000 Performance bonuses of up to £10,000 per year for closed deals Car allowance of £250 per month Mileage reimbursement at £0.50 per mile for client visits Full marketing support, product catalogues, and samples Dedicated back-office support for orders and technical queries What We Are Looking For Proven sales experience in the timber, joinery, or building products industry Established network of contacts among staircase manufacturers, joiners, and/or timber merchants Self-motivated with a proactive, relationship-driven approach Full UK driving licence Strong communication and negotiation skills Willingness to travel regularly across the UK
