Location: Manchester (multi-site) Sector: Social Housing Pay: £19.00 per hour (CIS) or £15.00 PAYE Overview We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Tradesman to join our team supporting responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and property refurbishments across social housing stock in the Manchester area. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of trade tasks to a high standard, ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work across multiple social housing sites. Complete a variety of trades tasks, potentially including:Carry out remedial work. Joinery Plumbing Plastering Tiling Basic electrical work (non-notifiable) Painting & decorating Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent. Provide excellent customer service to tenants and represent the business professionally. Travel between multiple sites across Greater Manchester daily. Essential Requirements Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesman in housing, construction, FM, or similar environments. Own tools and a reliable vehicle (mileage or fuel allowance can be referenced if applicable). Strong skills in at least two core trades. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Strong understanding of health and safety practices. Full UK driving licence. Desirable Experience working within the social housing sector. Relevant NVQs, City & Guilds, or equivalent trade qualifications.
