Job summary

Breedon Surfacing Solutions provide a wide range of asphalt surfacing contracting services across the UK, delivering a comprehensive asphalt surfacing solution for the construction and maintenance of public highways; infrastructure; residential and industrial developments and minor works. Our client base ranges from domestic and commercial clients to large contractors, local authorities and government bodies. We have a requirement for a squad that will operate in the East Central Belt / Fife & Tayside area. The squad will comprise of the following roles: 1 Foreperson 1 Screwman 1 Paver Operator 2 Roller Operators 1 Banksman 1 3CX Operator 1 Labourer Key Responsibilities Carry out work in accordance with instructions given by the Foreperson Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained, safe to use and operated in the manner for which it was designed Maintain all PPE to a high standard to ensure it is in a good serviceable condition Support less experienced operatives  Maintain professional working practices  Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures and safety commitments Report all accidents, incidents, near miss events, issues and concerns Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements of the specification   Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Previous Surfacing Experience desirable, however full training will be provided CSCS card desirable Driving licence is essential for all roles Job Benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Contributory Pension Scheme Free on-site Parking Volunteer Scheme Share Save Scheme Life Assurance Enhanced Maternity, Adoption & Paternity Scheme Health & Wellbeing Initiatives Discount Scheme
