Overview: AM2 Assessor Are you Time Served Electrician who is looking for a career change? We are looking to speak with electricians who could see themselves in a training role. Full training is provided by the employer. The successful candidate will be trained to assess AM2 qualifications for a well-established training provider. You must hold your AM2 qualification and Gold Card to be considered for this position. Based at our learning centre in Southampton, Monday to Friday, days - no unsociable hours. Salary/Benefits: AM2 Assessor £38k-£40k starting salary Further development, training and qualifications fully funded and provided Monday - Friday - days - no evenings or weekends 33 days annual leave (including BHs) The successful applicant will have a genuine desire to move into a training role, enjoy working in a learning environment and passing on their skills and experience to the next generation. All Training and qualifications will be provided by the employer. The role of an AM2 Assessor: Assess the AM2 qualification at a high-tech training facility. Train learners towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards. Ensure the highest of standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates' progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews and target setting. Ensure all appropriate awarding body / funding body documentation is maintained and up to date. Essential Experience: AM2 Assessor Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience as a time served electrician A desire to pass on knowledge and skills to the next generation Qualifications & Competencies: AM2 Assessor 18th Edition Electrical installation qualification AM2 qualification Gold Card
