Multiple Engineering Opportunities – Rail & Transport Sector Permanent Roles | Up to £40,000 | Van + Door-to-Door Pay We’re recruiting for several Electrical and Engineering roles across rail stations and depots in the Northern, Thameslink, C2C, and Southern rail networks. These permanent positions support a major rail network with excellent benefits. Current Vacancies GA Electrician – ideally based around the Stansted area Electricians – Northern Rail Stations (Reactive Maintenance) Locations include North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and central London Electrician – Northern Rail Stations (PPM & Reactive Maintenance) Locations as above Electrician – Southern Rail Stations (PPM & Reactive Maintenance) Locations include South London suburbs and commuter towns such as Sutton, Wimbledon, Elephant & Castle Multi-Skilled Engineer – Northern Rail Stations (Fabric / Plumbing) Locations as Northern Rail stations above Electricians – Northern Rail Depots Depots within the Northern Rail region Electricians – Southern Rail Depots Depots within the Southern Rail region AC Engineer – must hold FGAS and have minimum 4 years’ experience, covering the C2C rail network (Liverpool Street to Shoeburyness) and other rail locations as needed Location Details Northern Rail Stations (GTR Northern Region) Stations across North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and central London including: London Kings Cross, Alexandra Palace, Hatfield, Letchworth, Stevenage, Peterborough, and more. Thameslink Stations (Central & South London) Key central London hubs such as St Pancras and City Thameslink, plus south London suburbs like Sutton, Wimbledon, Elephant & Castle, and commuter towns including Luton and Harpenden. C2C Rail Network (East London & Essex) Stations from Liverpool Street in central London through Barking, Grays, Tilbury Town, Pitsea, Benfleet, Southend Central, and out to Shoeburyness on the Essex coast. This route serves urban and suburban areas and is a key commuter line into London. Southern Rail Stations (Govia Thameslink Southern Region) Coastal Area: Serving the south coast and surrounding towns including Brighton, Eastbourne, Bognor Regis, Chichester, Worthing, Hastings, Lewes, Horsham, Crawley, and many more seaside and rural stations. Metro Area: Focused on London suburban commuter belt and south London including Clapham Junction, London Bridge, London Victoria, East Croydon, Sutton, Epsom, Purley, Redhill, and other Metro stations in South London and Surrey. Facilities & Depot Locations Supporting depot and maintenance sites such as Letchworth DC, Horsham DC, Monument Place, and Go-Ahead House. Package & Benefits Salary up to £40,000 20 days annual leave Auto-enrol pension (3% employer / 5% employee) Door-to-door pay Company van, fuel card, iPad & iPhone Call-out rota: Contractual: 1 in 4 weeks (currently closer to 1 in 6) Standby payment: £125 per week Overtime paid with minimum 4 hours Rates: x1.5 evenings/nights & Saturday morning x2 Saturday afternoon through Monday morning
