Guaranteed 5 a Week Residential Site Prepared with Scaffolding and Kit Delivered 6-14 panel installations - can complete in 1 day We are a leading, MCS-certified renewable energy specialist dedicated to high-quality residential and commercial solar installations. We pride ourselves on an in-house delivery model—we don’t use subcontractors, and we don’t cut corners. We are currently seeking a highly skilled, AM2 and 18th Edition qualified Electrician to lead our installation teams and ensure every system we commission meets the highest industry standards. Key Responsibilities Full System Integration: Lead the electrical installation of Solar PV systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and EV charging points. AC/DC Wiring: Managing DC string cabling from the roof to the inverter and full AC integration into the property’s consumer unit. Compliance & Testing: Performing full initial verification, including Continuity, Insulation Resistance, Polarity, and Z_s testing. Commissioning: Setting up inverters (Hybrid/String) and ensuring seamless communication with monitoring apps and battery management systems. Quality Control: Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 (18th Edition, Amendment 2) and MCS requirements. Candidate Requirements Fully Qualified: You must hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and have successfully completed your AM2 . Current Standards: Must possess 18th Edition (BS 7671:2018) qualification. Renewable Experience: Proven experience with Solar PV installations and Battery Storage is highly preferred. Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret electrical schematics and configure smart energy monitoring software. Professionalism: A customer-first mindset with the ability to explain system operations to homeowners clearly. Clean Driving License: Required for travel to various site locations.
