Plastech (Southern) Limited are a private and independently owned plastic pipework distribution organisation with branches in Hampshire and Essex specialising in the supply of specialist underground plastic pipework and associated groundworks materials to builders, groundworkers and civil engineers. Due to continued expansion and an increase in business, we are now looking to recruit a Driver (3.5ton Flat bed) /Yard Operative for immediate start. Based at our Essex Depot in Aldham, Colchester, reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor in the first instance. You are reliable and be able to work both as part of a team as well as on your own, using your own initiative. A keen eye and attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills are a must. Forklift experience would be beneficial but not essential as training is provided. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Loading and unloading of company vehicles/couriers/delivery vehicles Picking goods for orders for despatch Picking orders for customer collections Keeping the yard in clean & tidy fashion, in line with H&S policies Confident in driving a 3.5T truck with extended base Assisting sites in unloading materials where required Working H ours *: * 40 hours per week, 8.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.
