Are you a high-performing BD professional ready to shape the growth strategy of a thriving building-services business? This is a genuinely strategic leadership role where your influence will extend across regional sales, client engagement, and revenue growth. The Opportunity This is not a typical sales leadership position. You will have direct ownership of both Projects and PPM revenue across key sectors such as healthcare, defence, commercial, and engineered environments. You will: Build and manage a new business pipeline from scratch Win significant clients and hand them over to account management once established Lead and mentor a small BD team, uplifting performance and refining early-stage client engagement Collaborate closely with senior leadership, shaping the regional growth strategy Work with autonomy while driving tangible results that impact the business’s future Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will combine sector credibility with a proven ability to win new business, lead teams, and think strategically. Key attributes include: Sector Expertise: BD or sales leadership experience within building services, HVAC, M&E, FM, or engineering services. Familiarity with both Projects and PPM contracts is essential. Proven Hunter: Demonstrable experience building pipelines from zero and landing new clients in key sectors. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and mentor a small team, driving standards and performance improvements. Strategic Thinking: Experience connecting pipeline, bids, and operational delivery, with commercial discipline and margin awareness. Polished Communicator: Confident presenting to boards, directors, and senior stakeholders; able to simplify complex technical concepts.
