What You’ll Be Doing Ensure full compliance with food and feed safety, quality, and defence requirements across the UK, EU, and GFSI frameworks—including Organic, Halal, FAMI-QS, and Kosher standards. Monitor regulatory and legislative updates, assessing their impact and updating internal protocols to maintain seamless compliance. Develop regulatory strategies for both new and existing ingredients/products, covering areas like allergens, REACH, novel foods, packaging materials, general food law, labelling, contaminants, botanical ingredients, and more. Provide detailed regulatory assessments for the quality and technical teams—e.g., novel food status, product applicability, claims, and labelling reviews. Coordinate with authorities to secure necessary registrations, authorisations, and licences. Support the design, accuracy, and regulatory alignment of product specifications across the UK and EU. Deliver regulatory training to quality and technical teams across Europe. Contribute to crisis and incident management as part of the wider leadership group. What You’ll Bring At least 5 years’ experience in regulatory or technical roles within food, feed, supplements, or ingredients. Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail. Proven problem-solving ability and a structured approach to decision-making. Confident multitasker with excellent communication skills. Collaborative and supportive team player able to work with colleagues at all levels. High standard of business English. Self-driven, highly organised, and proficient with Microsoft Office.
