FirstAchieve are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our global engineering parnter, specialising in the overhaul and maintenance of rotating equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking for stable hours and competitive pay. Position Details: Role: Mechanical Fitter Hours: 37 hours per week Pay Rate: £23 per hour Type: Full-time, permanent Key Responsibilities: Overhaul, repair, and maintenance of rotating equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.) Fault finding, diagnostics, and precision fitting Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard Working both independently and as part of a team Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally with rotating equipment Apprenticeship served or time-served mechanical fitter Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills Ability to work from technical drawings Attention to detail and commitment to quality Relevant engineering qualifications (preferred but not essential) What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £23 Stable 37-hour working week Travel allowance paid in line with NAECI Blue Book rates Supportive working environment Opportunities for overtime and development If you're a dedicated Mechanical Fitter with experience in rotating equipment and looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
