Specification Sales Manager – Bathrooms Job Title: Specification Sales Manager – Bathrooms Job reference Number: Industry Sector: Bathrooms, Kitchens, KBB, Taps, Showers, Social Housing, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Housebuilders and Private Developers Area to be covered: South - West Midlands, South Wales, South West and South East (South of M25) Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 + 20% Bonus Benefits: £600 Car Allowance or Hybrid Car/ EV & Full Benefits The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Bathrooms will involve: Field sales position, promoting taps, showers and accessories for bathrooms and also kitchens 70% targeting social housing projects, winning specifications with local authorities and housing associations 30% targeting regional housebuilders/ private developers 70% new business development, 30% account management Area currently achieving £1.5m in social housing, £300,000 in New Build projects (social housing up 6% on budget, new build tracking slightly behind) Working in connection with 3 x Area Sales Managers in the South selling into independent bathroom showrooms, independent retailers & builders merchants Utilising warm leads and Glenigan Social housing projects from £75,000-£150,000 and regional housebuilder projects typically £50,000-£100,000 Working in conjunction with a team of field sales professionals (ASM’s) who will manage the independent retailers & bathroom showrooms The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Bathroom Industry with: Proven specification field sales track record Must have sold into social housing (local authorities/ housing associations) or regional housebuilders/ private developers Contacts within social housing (local authorities/ housing associations) or regional housebuilders/ private developers may be useful Preferably sold kitchen and bathroom products KBB New business hunter Entrepreneurial attitude that doesn’t need micro management Attitude of wanting to make a name for yourself Ambitious, dynamic and hard working personality Knowledge of showers, bathrooms, brassware, tapware, sanitaryware is not essential The Company: Est. 50 years+ in UK 60+ empoloyees Part of a larger group £19m+ turnover Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Sales Jobs, Construction sales vacancies and Specification sales positions within the building industry in sectors such as: Bathrooms, Kitchens, KBB, Taps, Showers, Social Housing, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Housebuilders and Private Developers, House Builders, Brassware, Tapware, Sanitaryware, Heating, Radiators, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Boilers, Renewables, Plumbing, Showers and the Tile industry
