Vehicle Technician Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop. The successful candidate will carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on vehicles Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and technical data Complete mechanical and electrical repairs efficiently Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work required Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards Accurately complete job cards, reports and service documentation Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment Work collaboratively with service advisors and workshop colleagues Skills & Experience Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer Competitive basic salary with bonus structure Ongoing training and manufacturer courses Modern workshop and equipment Career progression opportunities Company benefits package (pension, holidays, staff discounts)
