Vehicle Technician Location: Swindon Salary: £34,000 – £42,000 basic (DOE) OTE: £45,000 – £50,000+ Hours: Monday – Friday + Saturday rota (if applicable) The Role We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and reputable dealership in Swindon for an experienced Vehicle Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing workshop offering strong earning potential, consistent workflow and ongoing manufacturer training. You will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Servicing and routine vehicle maintenance Diagnostics and fault finding (mechanical & electrical) Repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches and timing belts Conducting vehicle health checks Working to efficiency and productivity targets Completing job cards and documentation accurately Maintaining a clean and safe working environment About You NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Strong diagnostic ability MOT Licence (desirable) Full UK Driving Licence Ability to work in a fast-paced environment What’s on Offer Competitive basic salary with realistic OTE £45k–£50k+ Manufacturer training and career progression Pension scheme Modern, well-equipped workshop Stable, supportive team environment
