Welder Fabricator Location: Buntingford, Hertfordshire Rate Guide: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience Temp to Perm We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to join a busy fabrication team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with hours 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Welder Fabricator Key responsibilities: Perform TIG and MIG welding to produce high-quality welded components Carry out stud welding as required Fabrication work including assembly, grinding, tack welding and finishing Weld materials and components at thicknesses from 1.0 mm up to 12 mm Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications Ensure work meets dimensional and quality tolerances, carry out inspections and basic repairs Maintain a clean, safe working area and follow health & safety procedures Essential skills and experience: Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding in a fabrication environment Hands-on experience with stud welding Demonstrable ability to weld accurately on thicknesses from 1.0 mm to 12 mm Strong fabrication skills and experience with metal assembly and finishing Ability to work to drawings and tight tolerances Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the stated shift pattern Willingness to work on a temp-to-perm contract What we offer: Temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for a permanent role Standard 40-hour working week, set hours 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Overtime rate Stable day shift pattern (Monday to Friday) Opportunity for skills development and training Safe working environment and company-provided PPE where required How to apply: To apply, please submit your CV and a brief covering note outlining your welding and fabrication experience and availability.
