Grounds Maintenance Operative (Grass cutter) Location:  Plymouth, PL4 Hours:  37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 06:30am-16:15pm Pay:  £13.26ph Assignment:  Temporary role starting 30th March until July 26 Driving Licence:  Preferred Experience:  Previous grounds maintenance experience essential Are you looking for a hands-on outdoor role where you can take pride in keeping local communities looking their best? We’re currently recruiting for Grass Cutters / Grounds Maintenance Operatives to support Plymouth City Council across the local area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a friendly team, and helping maintain clean, safe and attractive public spaces. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll support the team with a range of grounds maintenance tasks across the city, including: Grass cutting and strimming Hedge trimming and shrub maintenance General grounds upkeep and litter picking Planting trees, flowers and seasonal plants Supporting wider landscaping and environmental projects Using equipment such as mowers, Scag machines, strimmers and blowers Travelling between sites with the team (vehicle provided during work hours)  What We’re Looking For Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar outdoor work Full UK driving licence preferred (driving may be required) Reliable, hardworking and comfortable working outdoors in all weather Able to work independently and as part of a team Good awareness of health & safety Why Apply?
