Electrical Engineer – NHS Rate: Band 5 - £19.30 per hour Umbrella Location: East and West Sussex (multi-site) - Work Van provided Duration: 3-6 months Hours: 8am – 4pm Monday – Friday - 37.5 hours a week Venn Group have partnered with an NHS Trust based in Sussex to recruit an Electrical Technician on a 3-6 month contract. You would be responsible for the service, testing and repairs needed to the equipment and plant for a large NHS Trust, across multiple hospital sites (work van provided). Including EICR and remedial works, ordering of parts, fitment, calibration and electrical installations across the site. You would assist with all aspects to PPM and SPM to provide a safe compliant environment for staff and patients. Key Duties: Carry out maintenance and minor works on engineering plant, equipment and services. EICR remedial repairs and upgrades, fix electrical faults, hazards, or non-compliant installations flagged during an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) To assist in relation to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) issues. To advise other department managers with regard to small electrical/ mechanical improvement/ project works and assist with budget costs. Carry out condition reports and report back with written report on plant and equipment to enable management forecast back log spend. Liaise with approved contractors for urgent maintenance issues and breakdowns when necessary. The successful candidate must have: Full UK Driving Licence 18th Edition City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 A proven ability to plan and prioritise work, under pressure and respond to deadlines in line with SLAs & KPIs Post qualification experience as an Electrician or within an electrical maintenance environment providing an engineering service Good communication, organisation and maintenance skills Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
