Job summary

We’re looking for a qualified Electrician to carry out a mix of installation, upgrades, testing, and maintenance work across domestic and commercial sites. You’ll be trusted to work safely, represent the business professionally on-site, and complete work to a high standard with clear communication back to the office. Key responsibilities Carry out electrical installation work on domestic and commercial projects Full and partial rewires, consumer unit changes, and remedial works Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and testing (as required) Fault finding, repairs, and planned maintenance Install and upgrade lighting and power circuits Support renewable and specialist works where competent (e.g., EV chargers, solar/battery storage) Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations and site rules (including PPE and access policies) Complete job documentation accurately (certs, test results, photos where needed) Maintain a tidy, safe working area and treat customer properties with respect Communicate progress, variations, and any issues promptly What we’re looking for Essential Fully qualified Electrician (e.g., NVQ Level 3 / equivalent) 18th Edition (BS 7671) Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills High standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service Full UK driving licence Able to work independently and as part of a small team Desirable Testing & Inspection qualification (e.g., 2391 or equivalent) Experience with EICRs and remedial works EV charger installation experience Solar PV / battery storage experience (or willingness to train) Experience working on construction sites and following site procedures Working hours & location Monday–Friday, typically 8am–5pm (with occasional overtime depending on workload) Work across Kent and the South East What we offer Opportunity for further training - SSSTS, Pasma, BPEC etc Supportive, straightforward management and clear expectations Competitive pay + Overtime available (dependent on experience and qualifications) Company Van, Fuel Card (For the right applicant after probation period)
