Job summary

Job Title: Electrician Type: Permanent Location: Andover Salary: £42,083 per annum Hours: 37 hours (Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm) BRC are working closely with a leading organisation within the housing and maintenance sector to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their maintenance team. This role involves carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, installation, and refurbishment work across domestic properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service are consistently delivered. Duties: Undertake electrical repair, maintenance, and installation work in line with current I.E.E. wiring regulations Fault finding on single and three-phase installations Carry out testing, inspection, and portable appliance testing (PAT) Complete electrical installation certificates and condition reports Install and replace showers, immersion heaters, and electric heating systems Wire domestic heating controls Maintain accurate records of work completed and time taken Report urgent repairs and health & safety issues Manage van stock and materials efficiently Use PDA/smartphone systems for scheduling and reporting Participate in out-of-hours emergency service Requirements: Electrical qualifications (C&G 2330 and 2382 essential, 2391 desirable or equivalent) Experience in electrical installation and maintenance within domestic properties Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Good understanding of health & safety regulations Competent with mobile technology (PDA/smartphone use) Full UK driving licence Strong communication and customer service skills Benefits: Ongoing traning and development Company vehicle provided Involvement in out-of hours rota (additional earning potential) For more information, please call Meg Smith on or .
