Mobile Electrician - Commercial Testing - Slough / Watford / High Wycombe - £44,000 Plus vehicle and overtime @x1.5 My client who is one of the UK's leading compliance and electrical testing specialists are seeking a Mobile Electrician with experience of Commercial Testing with a particular focus on commercial projects. As a Mobile Electrician you will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), carry out remedial electrical works in commercial spaces, this includes performing routine testing, diagnosing faults, and completing small installations as needed, all with a strong customer-focused approach. You will ensure full compliance with safety regulations by preparing method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments. You will have proven experience in electrical testing and remedial work and be willing to work unsociable hours, including weekends and overnight, compensated at enhanced overtime rates. You would be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial sites, diagnosing electrical faults and carry out remedial works efficiently and safely, completing small-scale installations and minor upgrades as required, prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments, maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices, liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works and be flexible across shifts, including weekends, nights, and regional travel. You will possess a City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Certification and relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card), have proven experience in electrical testing (EICRs) and remedial works in commercial environments, have strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards, good problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach, a flexible approach to work unsociable hours and travel regionally as required and a full UK driving license and willingness to use a company vehicle.
