Solar PV Electrician – Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance Location: Bridgend, South Wales Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 Full-time | Permanent About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team. The role involves working across a range of residential and commercial projects, installing and commissioning solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated electrical infrastructure. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants to be part of a forward-thinking renewable energy company. Occasional working away for short periods may be required, depending on project location. Key Responsibilities Installation and commissioning of solar PV inverters and battery storage systems Carrying out service, maintenance, and inspection works on existing systems Installation of AC supplies, containment, and cable runs Fault finding, testing, and troubleshooting of PV and battery systems Completing commissioning documentation and handover packs Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671, MCS standards, and health & safety requirements Requirements Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) 18th Edition (BS 7671) Valid CSCS or ECS card (required) Experience in solar PV and/or battery storage systems (preferred) Strong understanding of electrical installations and testing procedures Full UK driving licence Desirable (but not essential): Experience with SolarEdge systems Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) Previous experience in commercial PV installations What We Offer Company van & fuel card Weekly pay Overtime opportunities Performance-related bonuses Clear opportunities for career progression within the company Ongoing training and development in renewable technologies Opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding solar company Why Join Us?
