As experts in MEP engineering, we're delivering technically challenging data centre fit-outs and projects across commercial, education, and defence sectors. We are currently looking for a Assistant Building Services Engineer, who will gain hands-on experience across MEP building services to support delivery of healthy, greener, and inclusive buildings. As the Assistant Building Services Engineer ,** you will: Help prepare sub-contract and equipment packages for tender pricing ensuring compliance with standards and sustainability frameworks such as BREEAM and LEED, and fire regulations. Assist with liaising with Procurement to secure best commercial value on packages you are working on. Collaborate with engineers and contractors to help plan, coordinate and oversee areas of the design, installation and commissioning of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and renewable energy systems. Assist with creating and maintaining the construction programmes and walk the floors to monitor site progress and quality control utilising our Slate software. Manage the reporting of site progress, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in compliance with environmental and quality standards. Participate and manage health & safety including, delivery of briefings, risk assessments and toolbox talks, standups and standdowns. We are looking for: Working towards a technical qualification, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or associated NVQ Level 4 qualification (HNC Level). Commitment to health and safety and quality practices. Enthusiastic about learning, personal and professional growth with an interest in sustainability and positive impact. Experience or interest working across sectors such as defence, data centres, and commercial projects.
