Grass Cutter We’re looking for Grass cutters / Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our client’s team in Tavistock , helping to keep neighbourhoods clean, tidy, and well-maintained. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves hands-on outdoor work, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and takes pride in delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services. Your Responsibilities You’ll be involved in a wide range of outdoor tasks, including: Cutting grass and strimming across housing estates and communal areas Trimming hedges, maintaining shrubs, and general grounds upkeep Litter picking to keep public spaces clean and safe Planting seasonal flowers, trees, and other greenery Assisting with wider landscaping and environmental improvement projects Operating grounds maintenance machinery such as mowers, strimmers and blowers What We’re Looking For Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or similar outdoor roles (preferred but not essential) A full UK driving licence if you’re not based locally to Tavistock Someone dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in all weather conditions Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Good awareness of health and safety practices Why Join the Team?
