Ellicar Pools and Gardens operates from offices and a show garden located in Gringley on the Hill, DN10 4SN. We offer a wide range of services from design and build of natural swimming pools, gardens and various landscapes. We are a family run business with quality and ecology at the forefront of our values. This is an exciting position to work together on site leading a small team soft landscaping gardens, planting up ponds and natural swimming pools and carrying out their maintenance and aftercare. Offering the opportunity to learn a range of skills, work regionally and nationally with progression within the company. Duties: - Groundworks using various machinery - Planting up of natural swimming pools and ponds - Natural swimming pool and pond seasonal maintenance and aftercare - Ground preparation, use of hand held and tractor powered rotavators and cultivators - Soft landscaping works such as turf laying, meadow and lawn seeding, tree planting, setting out plants from planting plans, planting up borders, mulching, constructing and planting gravel gardens, installing surface drainage, installing irrigation systems - Proficiency in reading plans, setting out and use of laser levels. Candidate Requirements: - 3 years minimum experience in the following industries: landscaping and soft landscaping, horticulture and gardening, groundworks and demonstrate the ability to perform the duties specified to a high standard and proficiency - Able to continuously learn and develop - Hardworking team player and team leader - Able to live away for projects further afield with all accommodation arranged and expenses covered Replies: All applications must be sent with a cover note to demonstrate your capability and interest
