Key Responsibilities Rebuilding shafts and motors Testing and commission post installation Refurbishment and upgrading of older systems Often working outside no matter what the weather (full kit provided) Operating hand, power tools & heavy equipment Ensuring that your workspace is maintained Checking that the quality of your work is to the standard expected Work to technical instructions, drawings, and specifications ensuring accuracy and compliance Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors to deliver projects to high standards Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements What They're Looking For Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter A valid UK drivers licence Level 3 qualification in Engineering or equivalent Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow and interpret technical information Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well in a team Knowledge of engineering tools, equipment, and materials Working knowledge of current health and safety legislation and safe working practices This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to build a rewarding career in the water industry.
