Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are proud to support our Rotherham based client with the recruitment of a Mechanical Supervisor as they grow their Site Services team. The Mechanical Supervisor will work closely with the Mechanical Fitters who are involved in workshop duties as well as working at customer sites throughout the UK. This is a very hands on role and as the Mechanical Supervisor you will also be heavily involved with the hands on day to day Mechancial Fitting tasks as well as taking the lead with customers, paperwork, and supporting the Site Director. Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Mechanical Supervisor include: Provide site service and maintenance at customer sites throughout the UK Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works Address issues that arise and provide positive solutions, delivering the best possible service and outcome for the customer Complete site documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner. This will include permit requests, method statements & risk assessments Remote diagnosis and support of customer systems Support and contribution to workshop activities, including build and functional testing Knowledge & experience required for the Mechanical Supervisor include: Supervisory training ie. SSSTS Hazardous Area Training Site safety passport Significant experience of mechanical equipment repairs Equipment installation experience Mechanical qualifications and/or a recognised apprenticeship. Ability to diagnose and fault find to implement an appropriate solution Excellent communication skills and experience working with customers in a service delivery role Excellent time management and organisational skills Clean Driving Licence Flexible approach to working hours with the ability to work plenty of overtime as the need arises If you are a Mechanical Fitter or a Mechanical Supervisor who enjoys working a hybrid mixture of workshop and out in the field, and looking for something new, this would be a great time to join the company as they grow!
