About Us: We are a busy, fast-growing independent garage specialising in a wide range of vehicles, from everyday cars to performance and specialist models. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly experienced and skilled mechanic to join our team. The Role: We are seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician / Master Mechanic with extensive hands-on experience. This is not an entry-level role — we require someone confident in handling complex mechanical work, including full engine rebuilds and major diagnostics. Key Responsibilities: • Engine rebuilds (essential) • Advanced diagnostics and fault finding • Gearbox repairs and replacements • General servicing, maintenance, and repairs • Working on a wide range of vehicles (petrol, diesel, hybrid advantageous) • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard • Supporting junior technicians where required Requirements: • Minimum 5+ years experience as a qualified mechanic/technician • Proven experience with engine rebuilds • Strong diagnostic skills • Ability to work independently and efficiently • Full UK driving licence • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Desirable (but not essential): • Experience with performance or prestige vehicles • MOT Tester licence • Experience in a fast-paced independent garage What We Offer: • Competitive salary (dependent on experience) • Opportunity to work on a variety of interesting vehicles • Supportive working environment • Career progression opportunities
