Job Title: Vehicle Technician – £2000 Welcome Bonus Location: Stroud, GL5 Salary: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Working Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:00–17:00, Fri 8:00–13:00, No weekend work About us: Auto Bodytech is an award winning, family run accident repair and vehicle maintenance centre based near Stroud. About the role: We’re now looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy team. To attract the right person, we’re offering a £2000 welcome bonus, paid in instalments over 3 months. Key duties: Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults using manuals and schematics Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, electrics) Using hand and power tools for assembly/disassembly Welding and equipment repairs when required Performing diagnostics including ADAS and geometry Completing pre MOT repairs to VOSA MOT standards Mechanical repairs on Ambulance Trust vehicles Maintaining a clean, safe, organised workshop Working collaboratively to deliver high standards of workmanship and customer care About you: NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification Right to work in the UK Full clean driving licence C1 licence (desirable) F gas accreditation (desirable) Confident with hand/power tools and diagnostic software Ability to interpret schematics and technical information Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritise workload and work well within a team Capability to safely perform heavy lifting when required Please Note: Due to time constraints, your application will not be considered if you are currently based outside of the UK What we offer: £2000 welcome bonus ( paid in instalments over 3 months) Small, friendly, family run team 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Early finish every Friday Opportunities to upskill (ATA/NVQ accreditation training) Modern workshop with advanced diagnostic equipment Company uniform Company pension Free onsite parking If you are passionate about vehicles and possess the necessary skills to excel as a Vehicle Technician, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
