Job summary
We’re looking for an experienced sheet metal TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our busy workshop in Dronfield. You’ll fabricate and assemble a variety of products from stainless and mild steel materials using mainly TIG welding process to produce accurate, high-quality work. The role Fabricate, assemble and weld sheet metal components. Read and work from engineering drawings and measurements. TIG weld to a high standard. Cut, drill, grind and prepare materials using workshop tools and machinery. Check finished work for accuracy, quality and structural integrity. Keep your work area, tools and equipment safe, clean and well maintained. About you Proven experience as a Fabricator / TIG Welder in a workshop or manufacturing environment. Strong TIG welding skills and confidence with reading CAD/engineering drawings. Familiar and confident with welding thin gauge stainless steel, ranging from 0.9mm > 3mm. Good attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances. Able to work independently and as part of a small team. Good understanding of workshop health & safety. MIG welding capability would be beneficial for the role but not essential Benefits £18.15 per hour DOE plus overtime opportunities. 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays increasing with length of service.
