Job summary

Job Description Starting on dayshift for induction and training before moving onto a 2-shift rotation this person must be a confident MIG welder able to read engineering drawings without assistance. Duties • The work ranges from day to day using many different material types and thicknesses ranging from, 1mm – 10mm aluminium & 1mm – 3mm stainless steel. • There may also be the need to work on mild steel jobs ranging from 1mm – 20mm. • The candidate should have at least 24 months welding experience in sheet metal or similar type environment. • Must be comfortable reading and interpreting weld symbols. • Must be able to work free hand as well as using jigs and fixtures.
