This leading Training Provider is looking to appoint an Instructor in Plant Mechanics to join its team at its impressive Bircham Newton campus in Norfolk. In this role, you will deliver high-quality practical and theoretical training to both apprentice and commercial learners across core plant maintenance disciplines including welding, bench fitting and health & safety. You will assess learner competence, provide structured feedback, contribute to the development of training programmes, and support learners in building the safe working practices and technical knowledge needed to thrive in the construction industry. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Level 3 qualified plant mechanics professional to step away from site work and inspire the next generation of plant maintenance engineers. The Role: *Delivering practical and theoretical training in plant maintenance, welding, bench fitting and health & safety *Supporting apprentice and commercial learners in developing safe working practices *Assessing learner competence through practical activities and knowledge checks *Maintaining a safe, engaging and inclusive workshop learning environment *Contributing to the development and improvement of training programmes and materials *Progressing to deliver additional subjects aligned to your skills and competence *Participating in open days and employer engagement activities *Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and safeguarding The Person: *Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant discipline *Specialist licence to practise (CPCS, NPORS, City & Guilds or equivalent) *Relevant industry experience in construction or plant maintenance *Strong verbal, written and organisational skills Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
