Job Title: Reinforcement Welder – Trainee to Experienced Location: Baltic Wharf, Rochford SS4 2HA Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Working hours: Both Day and Evening shift patterns are available. DAY shift: Monday to Friday, 6.00am - 3.30pm EVENING Shift: Monday to Friday, 1.00pm - 10:30pm (Both include 1 hour lunch and if shortlisted you will be asked your shift preference). Important information Our Baltic Wharf depot location is remote with no direct transport links, therefore it is advisable that candidates have their own mode of transport to be able to get to and from work. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. While previous welding experience is preferred, full training will be offered for those without it. The successful candidate will be required to manufacture various steel products to customer specification and the highest possible standards, in line with health and safety requirements. The position requires a great deal of manual labour and working in all weathers, which can be physically demanding. While previous welding experience is preferred, full training will be offered for those without it. In addition, the role will include working as part of a team to meet deadlines and produce to a high standard. A good ability to communicate and have a positive, safety conscious attitude is therefore essential.
