Job summary

Our client requires, due to growth, an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their well-established business of over 20 years. The business specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke automated gates and access solutions . This is a varied role combining workshop fabrication with on-site installation work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: Fabrication and assembly of automated gates and access systems Manufacturing of: Handrails Balustrades Staircases Cat ladders Secondary steelwork Supporting installation teams on-site when required Carrying out on-site MMA (stick) welding Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality bespoke products Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standards Essential Requirements: Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder Valid CSCS card Full UK driving licence (essential for site work) Ability to work both independently and within a team Desirable (but not essential): Previous experience as a coded welder Knowledge of BS EN 1090 standards Experience within the gate automation or access control sector What’s on Offer: Permanent opportunity Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Diverse and interesting projects Opportunity to work on high-quality bespoke installations Supportive and skilled team environment
