LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician Cardiff (Outskirts - easy access from M4 / A470) Competitive Salary (DOE) + Benefits Full-Time, Permanent About the Opportunity Paradigm Employment Services are working on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering and vehicle services business in the Cardiff area. Due to continued demand, they are looking to appoint an experienced LCV Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on role working across a mixed fleet of light commercial vehicles (LCVs), vans, and cars , offering variety and long-term stability within a supportive workshop environment. The Role You'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical duties, ensuring vehicles are maintained to high safety and performance standards. Key responsibilities include: Servicing and routine maintenance of LCVs, vans, and cars Diagnostics and fault finding Mechanical repairs (engine, brakes, suspension, etc.) Vehicle inspections and health checks Preparing vehicles for MOT testing Supporting MOT testing (if qualified) Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards Maintaining accurate service and repair records The Candidate We're looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
