About the Role – Mechanical Assembly Technician As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will assemble mechanical components and finished products using engineering drawings, hand tools and power tools while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Alternate job titles include Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician, Production Operative and Manufacturing Technician. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical parts, sub-assemblies and complete products Read and interpret engineering drawings and build instructions Use hand tools and power tools accurately and safely Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed assemblies Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment Work to production schedules and daily targets Follow all health & safety and company procedures Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing Ability to read engineering drawings or technical diagrams Confident using hand tools and powered assembly equipment Excellent attention to detail and quality standards Reliable, punctual and team focused NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing (desirable) Why Join Bespoke Career Solutions? £13 per hour Ongoing, long-term employment Day shift working pattern Weekly pay Opportunities for permanent contracts
