This is an exciting time to join a growing architecture and landscape practice during a period of significant expansion. Based in modern, open-plan offices in the heart of London, the role offers the opportunity to work closely alongside the Finance Director, gaining exposure to the financial operations of a creative, design-led business. This role is open to part time, full time and flexible hours! The position goes beyond day-to-day finance administration, with scope to support teams across live projects and gain a broader understanding of how an architecture practice operates. Key Responsibilities Collating and updating financial information across multiple projects Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts Entering and maintaining accurate data within accounting systems (SAGE, transitioning to XERO) Generating sales invoices and maintaining sales journals Credit card reconciliations Managing employee expense claims Assisting with payment applications and invoicing cycles Responding to general finance-related queries across the practice Supporting senior staff and job runners with project administration tasks Updating and maintaining Time & Fees database information Collating timesheet reports for payment application cycles Skills & Experience Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy Previous experience in a finance administration or bookkeeping role Training or practical experience in bookkeeping Confident data entry skills and strong attention to detail Proficiency in SAGE, XERO, and Microsoft Excel Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to varied tasks Comfortable working independently and as part of a support team Good understanding of financial principles and metrics Awareness of GDPR and handling commercially sensitive information Benefits Office-based role in Waterloo, SE1 , three days per week (with one or two additional days per month where required) Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00 Pension scheme 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays Training opportunities, clear career progression, and scope for development Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding practice
