PR Specialist We’re looking for a PR Specialist to join our prestigious US law firm client and act as a key contributor to the firm’s marketing & communications initiatives, managing media inquiries for key practice areas, researching publications, creating targeted media outreach and advising attorneys on media relations opportunities Salary to £70,000 Hybrid working – 4 days in the office / 1 day remote Free lunch every Wednesday £100 per month firm contribution to lunch or other expenses PR Specialist Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily media relations, including responding to journalist inquiries, conducting conflict checks, and researching relevant publications and reporters Create and maintain targeted media lists for press outreach and distribution Pitch story ideas to journalists, coordinate interviews, and advise attorneys on messaging and interview preparation Draft and distribute press releases and other public relations content to elevate the firm’s visibility Monitor media coverage involving the firm and its attorneys Coordinate media planning and strategy calls with internal stakeholders, Marketing team members, and the firm’s external PR agency Assist with internal reporting and special research projects PR Specialist Skills & Requirements: 5+ years of demonstrated success of in a PR- or communications-related role in business- to-business, ideally within a law firm Ability to communicate effectively with media, lawyers, executives and colleagues through excellent written and oral communication skills Keen knowledge of the media landscape and ongoing readership of major outlets Ability to distil complex materials into digestible content to multiple audiences across different channels
