Your new company We are supporting a large and well-respected higher education institution in Manchester in recruiting a proactive Grounds Maintenance Operative. Your new role As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will: Carry out routine ground maintenance including mowing, strimming, edging, hedge cutting, weeding, pruning, and planting. Undertake soft landscaping tasks such as turfing, mulching, and seasonal planting schemes. Maintain pathways, courtyards, outdoor sports areas, and communal green spaces to a high standard. Support with leaf collection, litter picking, and waste management. Safely operate and maintain ground machinery and tools (e.g., ride-on mowers, strimmers, blowers). What you'll need to succeed Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or similar outdoor maintenance work.Ability to safely operate ground maintenance machinery and equipment.
