VP M&A - Nordic Coverage Location: London Team: Nordic Investment Banking A leading European financial institution with a growing international Investment Banking platform is seeking a Vice President to join its Nordic M&A team in London. This is a strategic hire within a highly active franchise focused on cross-border advisory, public and private M&A, and strategic corporate finance across the Nordics. The Role As a VP within the Nordic Investment Banking team, you will: Lead execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across the region. Drive financial modelling, valuation, due diligence and process management. Support origination efforts through pitch development, market analysis and relationship-building with key Nordic corporates and financial sponsors. Coordinate with product specialists and international sector teams to deliver comprehensive advisory solutions. Mentor and guide associates and analysts, ensuring high-quality output across all workstreams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nordic market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes. Candidate Profile We are seeking a VP with: 6-9 years of experience in Investment Banking, including significant M&A execution exposure. Strong understanding of Nordic markets; native-level language fluency in at least one major Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish) is strongly preferred. Proven transaction experience with the ability to manage full deal processes independently. Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment with senior client interaction. Collaborative mindset and strong leadership qualities.
